
Youth and Community Support Worker
Thursday evenings 3 hours per week

We are seeking someone with experience of supporting young people aged 11-18 years to work alongside the Youth and Community Development Worker in the planning and delivery of youth work sessions in Creech St Michael working face to face with young people and supporting local volunteers.
The Community Youth Project in partnership with Creech St Michael Parish Council is developing a vibrant Youth provision in Creech St Michael using a range of delivery methods including outreach and building based methods.
We are seeking a youth support worker, with experience of supporting young people aged 11-18 years, to work alongside the Youth and Community Development Worker in the planning and delivery of youth work sessions in Creech St Michael working face to face with young people and supporting local volunteers. You should have the skills to meet with young people, build effective relationships and involve young people in the shaping, design, planning and delivery of youth provision. The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people and will be resourceful and creative in engaging young people in a range of youth work activities and ensuring young people’s needs and interests inform the range of activities on offer.
Ideally qualified to NVQ level 2 in youth work or equivalent or with relevant experience
Rate of pay : £8.61 Per hour .
