During the holidays most groups are closed so the centre can offer different activities, trips and residential breaks!

Martock Youth Centre is owned by Trustees who live in Martock; however, the staff are employed by Martock Parish Council and the Community Youth Project (CYP).

Inside the building we have a large TV  for gaming, a smaller one for watching TV or DVD’s, several internet connected computers, a kitchen, a pool table, sofas, a large sports games area and a community garden for growing or chilling in!  The garden produce grown is sometimes sold at the Martock Producers Market which helps to buy new things for the garden and promote the positive activities young people to participate in.  The garden was designed by an ex member with the current building users and hard landscaped by Yarlington and other funders.

The centre is also heavily supported by local volunteers, the local churches and also by Martock Youth Parish Council and their team of young volunteers named Activ8tors!

The centre has had a number of successes including winning two SSDC Gold Star Awards in 2010 and 2011 for Best Female Young Volunteer and Best Voluntary Group (Martock Youth Parish Council).
